The Greatest Revenge is Massive Success

It's quite long that I did not post an entry because it was kind of reluctant to even notice the existence of this blog. As I wrote this, I was listening to the delegation of Kampung Langsat expressing themselves to the ex-Kedah MB.. Have patience ye Dato'...
Well. That's not the thing I wanna say. Just a bit thought how life can be easily turned up not to what we wanted it to be.. vice-versa..

Yesterday, the team of Choral Speaking of my school managed to get double champion.. which was like a dream.. a looonnngggg dream that came true..

I first stepped to this district which my 'thoughtless' friends mentioned as 'tempat jin bertendang'.. Well.. whatever..(as long I don't have to be mentally sick like her with daily traffic jams).. Bought a house here, forcing me to leave Kuala Lumpur.............

I was with choral speaking teams since I was in KL and I took all my experience to this place. I started in 2004..2005.. each year no excuses for me not to join the competition..2006, maternity matter so I had to slow down..

In 2007, we're given stand ovation, yet I couldn't understand why we couldn't get anyplace.. I was a bit frustrated and once broke down, giving up being a trainer, but someone came and motivated me a lot and I still remember her as one of my idols. I tried my best and in 2008, we managed to get the first runner-up. Not the ultimate goal but I was soooooo proud of my team because those were the same people who shared my agony in 2007.

2009 was the final year of being a trainer. I was tired and my efforts to find my 'apprentice' weren't fulfilled. My 'idol' moved to the other school, then I gave in in 2010 for I was expecting and I tried again in the next year but 'we had no budget left..' (as stated by the authority) so we had to withdraw from the competition.... after a month of training..
At some moment I thought I didn't have anyone to support me..
Then,
I quit.........
.................

 After 6 years.. Someone approached me and 'signed up' for the task. This high-spirited young fellow started tremendously brilliant but we had slipped a bit from luck. The judging criteria were questioned. We're told not to this..to do that.. This rule.. that regulation...
Why?
Shouldn't English be fun?

This year, he tried again even we had a heartrending situation at the early stage.. Yet, positively, new younger team members were added which 'invited' complaints at the very last minutes...

Then.. walla!

Hari ni hujan agak lebat.. Dalam perjalanan balik dari sekolah petang tadi selepas aktiviti ko-kurikulum (yang aku mewujudkan diri selama sejam aje).. Huii..tak nampak jalan..punya la lebat.. Bahagian kiri jalan yang dekat dengan longkang berhampiran dengan Semarak dah penuh dengan air..dan aku kena la pandu perlahan.. Traumatik jugak driving dalam hujan ni sebabnya aku pernah kena sapu dengan angin lintang masa hujan ribut petir guruh (semua ada) kat Guthrie Highway berdekatan RnR Elmina arah Selatan ..dari lane kiri terus ke lane kanan.. Alhamdulillah..masa tu memang tak ada kenderaan lain..Kalau tak, tak tau le apa nasib aku...

saya bagi pihak majlis mengalu-alukan kehadiran tuan-tuan dan puan-puan ke Mesyuarat Agung Tahunan Persatuan pandu Puteri Daerah hulu Selangor bagi tahun 2015. Untuk makluman hadirin sekelian, majlis perasmian akan bermula sebentar lagi. Oleh itu para hadirin dipersilakan untuk mengambil tempat.

Mengumumkan ketibaan Yang Berbahagia, Puan Sohada binti Ramli, Penaung Persatuan Pandu Puteri daerah Hulu Selangor dengan diiringi Yang Berusaha AJK Tertinggi Pertubuhan Pandu Puteri daerah ke Dewan Besar SMK Bandar Sungai Buaya dan seterusnya mengambil tempat.  Para hadirin dipersilakan berdiri.

Tiada kata seindah bahasa dapat menggambarkan perasaan terharu atas kehadiran tuan puan ke majlis ini. Pihak majlis mengucapkan ribuan terima kasih atas kesudian semua untuk meluangkan masa menghadirkan diri pada hari ini.

Majlis juga mengucapkan setinggi-tinggi penghargaan serta mengalu-alukan kehadiran Yang Berbahagia, Puan Sohada bt Ramli, Penaung Pertubuhan Pandu Puteri Daerah Hulu Selangor ke upacara Perasmian Mesyuarat Agung Pertubuhan Pandu Puteri Daerah Hulu Selangor bagi tahun 2015 ini.

Itulah tadi Istiadat Panji-panji dan majlis merakamkan ucapan terima kasih atas penyempurnaan istiadat itu tadi.

Seterusnya, kita dengarkan pula ucapan dari Yang Berusaha, Cik Hamidah Hussain, Pesuruhjaya Daerah Hulu Selangor untuk menyampaikan ucapan. Majlis dengan segala hormatnya mempersilakan.

Aviation Disappearance Mysteries

After a year of the disappearance of our very own MH370, the mystery surrounding this incident brings grief to the families of all those involved.
Thinking about the theories evolved, here are some unsolved mysteries of airplanes' disappearances.

I want to believe - Fox Mulder



20-year-old Australian pilot, Frederick Valentich was flying Cessna 182L light aircraft over the Bass Strait in Australia on 21 October 1978. He advised Melbourne Air Traffic Control he was being accompanied by a UFO above him. No trace of Valentich or his aircraft was ever found.

In 2003, a Boeing 727 vanished in the Angolan capital of Luanda. The plane was stolen from Quatro de Fevereiro Airport, Luanda, Angola on May 25, 2003. A massive worldwide search prompted by the FBI and CIA. The plane was not been heard from since.

Northwest Orient Airlines Flight 2501 was operating its daily transcontinental service between New York City and Seattle when it disappeared on the night of June 23, 1950, over Lake Michigan. a widespread search was commenced including using sonar and dragging the bottom of lake Michigan with trawlers but to no avail.

A mystery surroundings Mackintosh's disappearance

Sir Ian Mackintosh, a scriptwriter, and an ex Scottish naval officer were flying a light aircraft along with two others in July 1979. He disappeared over the Gulf of Alaska sending out a distress signal which was picked up by the United States Coast Guard. The plane's last-known was searched, but no wreckage of the plane was ever found and its passengers have not been heard from since.

On April 17, 1938, 28-year-old pilot Andrew Carnegie Whitfield,  the nephew of wealthy steel magnate Andrew Carnegie, prepared to make a quick 15-minute flight from New York to New Jersey. His plane vanished mid-flight. Then the mystery became bizarre. It was discovered that Whitfield had checked into a hotel on Long Island under a false name. He left all his belongings behind at that hotel. There was no further contact, and the mystery remains unsolved.

Lieutenant Felix Moncla and Robert Wilson were ordered to fly out, when the radar station at Kinross AFB near Lake Superior noticed an unidentified blip in their airspace on November 23, 1953. The ground crew and Kinross's radar operators watched Moncla and Wilson's blip approached the foreign object, merged with it into one single blip, and then vanished off the radar screen. An exhaustive search took place but nothing was ever found.

George Cogar is one of the founders of the Mohawk Data Sciences Corporation and the founder of the Cogar Corporation. He comes from an old family in West Virginia and before he disappeared, owned the largest parcel of private land in New York state, complete with his own airport.

On September 2, 1983, George Cogar, five others and the pilot were on board a private plane, a Brittan Norman Islander headed from Vancouver Island to a hunting lodge in Smithers, Canada. The plane disappeared, presumably over British Columbia, Canada. No trace of the plane or its occupants was ever found. At the time, it was the largest coordinated search in Canadian history and cost nearly USD$1million.

          The 'Star Tiger' route developed speculation of its connection to the Bermuda Triangle.

 On 30th January 1948, a British South American Airways passenger aircraft 'Star Tiger' flight took off in strong winds with 25 passengers accompanied by a Lancastrian plane to keep a lookout for bad weather. The lookout plane arrived safely after their 12-hour journey but Star Tiger disappeared without a trace over the Atlantic Ocean and it remains unsolved to this day.

On December 5th, 1945, five U.S Navy Avenger planes known as Flight 19, disappeared off the Florida coast during a training mission. A search aircraft was sent to look for Flight 19 on the same day also disappeared. Both planes have not been seen or heard from since.

Amelia Earhart, the American aviation pioneer disappeared near Howland Island in the Central Pacific Ocean with her navigator, Fred Noonan on July 2nd. 1937. They flew with a Lockheed Electra plane while circumnavigating the globe at the time of disappearance. Ever since it is a mystery...........

Above all these, this picture offered by Calvin Shoemaker, (a man who claimed to be the pilot of the 6th Avenger plane ) during the investigation of Flight 19, is quite disturbing me.
